Declination of propaganda

After watched Sprawl so many times, I honestly said that I’m not that clearly understand the topic of that works. The more videos I watched, the more question pop-up in my head. But the one thing that I can decode from these confusing videos is the topic of Propaganda. Many videos show the power of media in many aspects, not only in a political term such as technology, health, entertainment, and daily life subject.

In our time, the modern era, the power of media seems to be the most important and it’s undeniable that we are all induced by that media. Nowadays, media and news are not only produced and used by the news agency but we are all acting as a consumer but at the same time, we have the power to produce and launch our media too.

The more people can access the internet, the more media and news are flooding. The more media and articles are available, the more people are educated. Some people might think that online content was written by the anonymous and was trusted by stupid. But if we ponder with the impartial heart, don’t you agree with me that people in the past tended to be fooled by the media more than people nowadays. For a clear example, in the past, people consume news from radio, newspapers, and the government. They tended to believe everything since it quite hard to find for the truth from the other side. It’s a magic of propaganda. Inform everything they need to the people who ready to consume all of that without any doubt.

Meanwhile, on the internet nowadays, It’ easy to launch whatever you want to the mass of people but at the same time, there are mass people who are watching and checking these kinds of ‘truth’ from you. They are ready to contradict and start a discussion on that topic.

I have found some interesting jokes on the internet lately. Since the political situation in Thailand nowadays seems to be separated people into New-gen and Old gen, They have so many fights on the social media platform.

They launch these kinds of meme joke into the Pro-dictatorship Facebook fan page and It has been shared by people there.

I honestly disagree about sharing fake stuff to trick people like this but this joke can prove the words of some people that they are older and do not trust anything easy like a teenager.
